God bless this man.
Worst insult ever? (Clueless, 1995)
Oh Ryan, I’ll rub your bloated belly.
So I’ve lately been obsessed with beautifully designed quotes - and as a result, I’ve been curating my own Pinterest board of words to live by. Decided it was time I made my own…or at least attempt. I have limited design skills, so it’s all been down in PowerPoint.
Here’s what I did:
- Browse my instagrams
- Find one with blank space
- Choose an emotion that related to the picture ( I chose ‘hope’)
- Googled quotes about ‘hope’
- Found a quote that I liked
- Copied the photo onto a blank slide
- Typed the quote in a text box, and layed it over the image
- Fiddled about with text and fonts
- Screengrab the image
- Upload it to Tumblr
Now I’m going to upload it here and pin on Pinterest to see if people like it. If you like it, please pin, re-blog, like. Here goes nothing!
This phrase was coined by English author Edward Bulwer-Lytton in 1839 for his play Richelieu; Or the Conspiracy. More from Wikipedia…
Make an effort to meet with people. Interaction with others opens up new and exciting possibilities. Meeting people stimulates our minds, gives us energy, leads to more new encounters and infinitely expands our life and our world.
