Summer 2012 is finally here. The sun made a welcome appearance at Clerkenwell Design Week, a London festival celebrating the latest in design innovation.
Gemma and I decided to explore our stylish new neighborhood (We’re working from start-up community Club Workspace) while tweeting, instagramming and making new friends.
First stop was open house at design consultancy IDEO, where we met with friend business designer Amie Bonsall and startup developer Kia Davis and discussed the usual….drag parties, ballet classes, and business.
Next we crashed the Haworth party - featuring student work from the Royal College of Art - and enjoyed the Central School of Speech and Drama’s theatre design exhibition “Living Stages”.
We took full advantage of the diorama workshop to create the ideal workspace - a great idea which truly engaged attendees.
