The sun made a welcome appearance at <a href="http://www.clerkenwelldesignweek.com/" title="CDW2012">Clerkenwell Design Week</a>, a London festival celebrating the latest in design innovation.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Gemma and I decided to explore our stylish new neighborhood (We’re working from start-up community <a href="http://club.workspacegroup.co.uk/" title="clubworkspace">Club Workspace</a>) while tweeting, instagramming and making new friends.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">First stop was open house at design consultancy <a href="http://www.ideo.com/uk/" title="IDEO">IDEO</a>, where we met with friend business designer <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/amy_bonsall" title="Amy Bonsall">Amie Bonsall</a> and startup developer <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/kiardavis" title="Kia Davis">Kia Davis</a> and discussed the usual….drag parties, ballet classes, and business.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Next we crashed the <a href="http://www.haworth.com/" title="Haworth">Haworth</a> party - featuring student work from the <a href="http://www.rca.ac.uk/" title="RCA">Royal College of Art</a> - and enjoyed the <a href="http://www.cssd.ac.uk/" title="cssd">Central School of Speech and Drama</a>’s theatre design exhibition “Living Stages”.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">We took full advantage of the diorama workshop to create the ideal workspace - a great idea which truly engaged attendees. </p> <p><a href="http://www.clerkenwelldesignweek.com/" title="CDW">Clerkenwell Design Week</a> runs from 22 May to 24 May 2012.
